What are the Skins for?

Not only do they avoid the wear and tear on the original screen printing, but they also prevent any mark of use, fingerprints, scratches, the dust that lodges on your equipment, etc.

What if my equipment is not found on the website?

We have a fairly long list of devices in stock. But if yours is not listed, please contact us and we can design it.

How are they installed?

Placing it is very easy, and it takes about 5 minutes. If you have a Mixer, a Controller or a CDJ, you have to remove the knobs (they all come out by applying pressure), Pioneer Faders being the only exception. Below you can find a tutorial about how to remove them.

Once you remove all the knobs, place the skin and put them back.

Do skins need to be stuck to my hardware model?

Our skins are placed between the front of our equipment and the knobs, so it is not necessary to glue them, in case of a mixer or a controller that has many knobs, the skin is super attached and does not move at all.

In the case of a cdj or a vinyl tray that mostly does not have knobs or has two at most, the skin is useless, for that we deliver round stickers of so that you can only stick the ends.

But everything will depend on the use you give to your equipment, if in your case the equipment is static in your study, it will not be necessary to paste it. Here we leave you several video links for you to see.

Does the Skin interfere with the use of the equipment? What material is it made of?

Not at all, our Skins are made of a special 0.5mm thick Acrylic, where it does not affect the daily use of our equipment.

Does dust collect between the Skin and the equipment? Can I remove the skin?

The answer is NO, no dust collects between the equipment and the skin, the dust that flies in the environment always falls from above, that is why our Skin is in charge of protecting our equipment. You can put the skin on and take it off as many times as you want, if you want to clean it, we recommend using a chamois in optimal condition and glass cleaner.

Do you send any protector for the Jog or Plate?

Yes, the plate is also an important part of our equipment that we use constantly, and being the highest part of our equipment always suffers scratches, that is why we also send a skin to protect it, this obviously is a piece that requires yes or yes to be glued, and it is glued at 4 ends with the round stickers that we send and here we also leave you an example of how they are glued.

Our skins are placed between the faceplate and the knobs, so it is not necessary to stick them. In the case of a mixer or a controller, which have many knobs, the skin is firmly attached and does not move at all.

In some cases, such as a CDJ, which generally do not have knobs or have two at most, we recommend you use a 10 mm round stickers kit for you to paste only the corners.

However, everything will depend on the use you give to your equipment. If it is in a fixed place in your studio, it will be up to you whether to paste it or not. Do they come with screen printing?

No, our Skins are completely transparent like glass, so they do not have screen printing.
